ARTEMIS Augenzentrum Leverkusen

The ARTEMIS Eye Center Leverkusen offers ophthalmological examinations and treatments for various diseases and visual disorders. Its areas of focus include cataract and glaucoma surgery, intravitreal injections (IVOM) for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration or diabetic macular edema, as well as medical eyelid surgery.

The range of services also includes basic and specialized diagnostics, preventive examinations for macular degeneration and glaucoma, preventive examinations for children, an orthoptic clinic, as well as preoperative preparation and postoperative care. The Eye Center also provides information about life without glasses or contact lenses and offers medical assessments. Among other procedures, high-quality intraocular lenses are used at the eye surgery center. Medical eyelid and lacrimal duct surgery includes the treatment of eyelid malpositions and diseases affecting the eyelid.
