Organic breads and character breads are created at Backwerk – the organic artisan bakery in Hanover – using its own recipes, few ingredients, and lots of care, time, and feeling. Every loaf is different and a true piece of craftsmanship.

Since 1999, the family-run company has been baking with passion and conviction. The baked goods are offered at the shop in Südstadt, at the factory outlet in Limmer, and at the farmers’ market. They are also available at weekly markets as well as in organic food shops and cafés. At the market, Backwerk operates as Backwerk & Bundschuh Vertriebs GbR. The traditional bakery brings together people and nature, freedom and responsibility, as well as food and the places where people come together.
