Bäckerei Hofmann

Hofmann Bakery combines a bakery, pastry shop and café in northern Darmstadt. The range includes breads, bread rolls, tarts and cakes, including favorite breads, favorite bread rolls as well as favorite tarts and cakes. As a bread sommelier, the bakery is dedicated to the variety of traditional baked goods.

The family businesses Michael and Petra Hofmann as well as Jonas and Sara Hofmann stand for more than 100 years of tradition and a philosophy shaped by “Out of Love for Tradition.” Among other things, the Century Bread is created in the bakery as the bread of the month, along with baked goods featuring a touch of South Tyrol. During the winter season, traditional specialties and Christmas magic for little master bakers are part of the program. Since the end of last year, baking has been done using sustainable energy. The branch on Liebfrauenstraße has been modernized and will celebrate its reopening on November 7, 2026; on that day, there will be a 10 percent discount on all baked goods.
