die metzgerei

die metzgerei is one of the venues operated by raumpflegekultur e.V. in Augsburg and is used as a space for culture, art, and music. It is currently being renovated.

Since 2013, raumpflegekultur e.V. has been bringing vacant spaces in Augsburg to life. The surrounding network also includes the Provino Club, das peripher, and das blaue haus. In these spaces, which have fallen out of time, cultural centers, stages, and office and cultural communities are created. The respective character of the spaces often determines their new use and enables individual and unconventional concepts. Information about upcoming events can be found in the calendar or on social media. The events calendar includes, among others, the Dienstagskneipe, the Wirgarten Summer Festival, and the Technokneipe. The Wirgarten takes place every Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 p.m.
