Riek Butcher’s in Potsdam has been producing sausages for four generations according to traditional recipes passed down from the great-grandfather. Around 90 percent of the production takes place in-house. The range includes meat, sausages and homemade salads.

At its snack bar, the butcher’s shop welcomes guests with a hearty breakfast and changing daily lunch dishes. It also provides individual catering for events. Riek Butcher’s was founded in 1943 by Wilhelm Riek on Zeppelinstraße. There is also a market stall on Bassinplatz. The butcher’s shop is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The snack bar is open Mondays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
