The BLOCK HOUSE Restaurant Kiel is located directly between Holstenstraße and Rathausplatz. It is open Sundays to Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Holstenstraße forms the heart of the city of Kiel and is considered Germany’s second-oldest pedestrian zone. The surrounding area is home to many shops and restaurants for strolling and stopping for a bite to eat. Kiel also offers a maritime atmosphere on the Baltic Sea coast, the Maritime Museum, Kiel’s Hörn with its museum harbor, landing stage and shipyard, as well as the Hörn Bridge. Other cultural destinations include Kiel Week, the theater, the Botanical Garden and St. Nicholas’ Church.

Das Essen war leider kalt. Als ich das angesprochen habe hat die sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung sofort reagiert. Ein neues Essen habe ich aber abgelehnt. Dafür haben alle dann gratis Cappu...
Veldig god mat. Fin atmosfære og hyggelig betjening. Anbefales.
Das Fleisch ist der hammer und das Ambiente
Freundliches Personal - deshalb 3 Sterne. Ansonsten war mein medium Steak innen noch blutig und roh. Ein Steaklokal muss wissen wie das Fleisch auszusehen hat.
Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Die Ausstattung ist rustikal, aber durchgehend über alle Bereiche in gutem Zustand. Empfehlen kann ich das American Tenderloin in Medium mit Ofenkartoffel!

Wir waren das erste Mal im Block House und sind begeistert. Wir kommen wieder, weil das Essen und der Service hervorragend waren und wir sogar einen Malbec trinken konnten.

Great service and big place. Prices are reaonable l, about 25 euro for a 250g rib eye. Can have a sharing 500g tbone for about 40.
