Sofi Bakery bakes bread with grains from small organic farmers in Northern Europe. The neighborhood bakery in Berlin-Mitte follows the principle of honest, artisanal baking with as little intervention as possible and places particular importance on origin, raw materials, and the production process.
At the center is the application of the ideas of the Slow movement to bread baking. Sofi understands baking as a craft tradition and explores the consequences of industrialized food production in the process. The selection of the grain begins with the soil, whose importance for the quality of the grains is compared with the importance of soil for wine. Sofi Bakery was created in collaboration between Slowness and Danish chef and restaurateur Frederik Bille Brahe.

Cheese Bun is amazing, only staff has always some attitude and it‘s often fullll.
Overrated and overhyped. Staff at the counter seems to clueless about the products and way too slow. I waited over 30 minutes just to buy a baguette and croissant. They should have a separate counter...
It is our home place, at least twice per week breakfast here and any time needed for bread and cakes. Probably one of the top bakeries in Berlin. The staff is wonderful. My son loves the pan au chocol...
This bakery was beautiful, but I don't get the hype 🥲 I got the Kouign Amann and Miso Chocolate cookie. The Kouign Amann was mushy on the inside, not flaky enough, and a bit cold. The Miso Chocolate...
Berlin loaf all the way
They poorly explained the flavor and texture of their bread pudding — honestly it was nasty, probably from sitting out all day. When my friend asked to exchange it for a croissant, the manager went to...
Unfortunately had a bad experience here today. I wasn’t sure about what to get and asked for a recommendation for a pastry. I tried it and it wasn’t as described, I asked if I could exchange it for a...
Food was ok but there’s intentional slowness to create a queue outside which is sustained for hours - free marketing.
Had a morning bun covered in sugar, vert delicious! There was quite a queue when I arrived at 10.30, it moves relatively fast. The pastries are delectable, the seating outside is not comprehensive but...
Toller Matcha
Un racó amagat però que triomfa molt. Tot el menjar súper bo i el cambrer català molt amable!
SOFI’s morning bun is my favourite; highly recommend it. It’s a very popular bakery so expect to wait in line for a few minutes when you visit. They also have great artisanal bread, yummy sandwiches,...
Quite calm and decent environment. Food and beverages are prepared with care.
Migliori pastry di Berlino! E potrete anche avvistare Harry Styles
The food was really good, especially the bread, which was really tasty. I find the normal croissants a bit too oily?buttery? but it was still okay. The main problem was the waiting times. They made us...
Unfortunately, the queue creates a sense of anticipation. You think it will be something special. But in fact, the coffee and pastries are completely ordinary. P.S. It seems that this plate can alread...
Great baked goods, very friendly staff but somewhat expensive and much too popular. Definitely still recommend though! Especially the collab miso paste that Mimi Ferments uses their leftover bread for...
Really great food loved it had to wait a few minutes in line but it was totally worth it, is more on the pricey side but worth it not much space to sit for the amount of people wanting to eat there
Coffee was good, bread really hard to chew however the cafe is vibes
dont usually write these but the double baked croissants are incredible
Awful experience. Zero service, and the so-called “sandwich” was just a slice of bread with butter and a cold piece of cheese, slapped onto a hot plate—never even warmed up. Avoid.
The atmosphere is good, the place is beautiful but we waited 10 minutes for a cheese and ham sandwich...it's a shame
To be honest, the atmosphere was much better than the food and drinks. The chocolate croissant was greasy, and the coffee wasn’t good either.
A Danish inspired bakery great for breakfast ! Need to add more seats and tables at the yard
The location is stunning but the baked goods lacks flavour. I had high expectations for the morning bun but felt underwhelmed and ripped off when I consider the price. It tasted really oily and cheapl...
Long queue, waiting for 15 minutes to order, many kinds of dishes, bread taste good, great texture
