Sofi Bakery bakes bread with grains from small organic farmers in Northern Europe. The neighborhood bakery in Berlin-Mitte follows the principle of honest, artisanal baking with as little intervention as possible and places particular importance on origin, raw materials, and the production process.
At the center is the application of the ideas of the Slow movement to bread baking. Sofi understands baking as a craft tradition and explores the consequences of industrialized food production in the process. The selection of the grain begins with the soil, whose importance for the quality of the grains is compared with the importance of soil for wine. Sofi Bakery was created in collaboration between Slowness and Danish chef and restaurateur Frederik Bille Brahe.

Lovely Bakery with Great Food, but Service Needs Attention. I visit this bakery every other week and absolutely love the cozy, unique atmosphere and delicious food. However, I feel compelled to menti...
Not a big selection, a very unfriendly man who took my order, one plate for two people due to a shortage, and really dry chocolate cake. But the coffee was excellent)
Simple, delicious, highly overpriced. For a pastry shop - everything being sold out before noon is strange to say the least. There is more staff than customers but customers are still expected to both...
Ein Stern sicherheitshalber. Warum?
bored staff. tourist trap
Nice place with good coffee and baked goods. It can get very busy in the morning.
A bit overrated… you get better coffee elsewhere and the cue is just too long! Not worth the hype
There is very little space here, and the line is huge. We stood in line for a few minutes for ham sandwiches, but there’s nothing special about it.
The Pain Au Chocolat was very delicious and crunchy. Absolutely loved it.
Coffee is good but food, not that much. It’s in a nice location and cosy place though. They also run out of things a lot.
Locale piccolo ma molto accogliente, in centro. I prodotti hanno tutti ingredienti di qualità. I pani hanno stile, gusto e colore targato Sofi. Fascia di prezzo medio alta/alta. É possibile sedersi e...
Leckeres Gebäck. Super liebe Bedienung...
Heard recommendations by friends about SOFI. Really great atmosphere, people love it. I was excited to try the pastries. I tried the Morning Bun but I give it a 3,5/5 which is still good but it doesn’...
Erg lekker gegeten, en goede koffie. Super sfeervolle locatie.
Cozy place with amazing bread. Very scandinavian. The only thing is the boring cheese that they use for the buns and sandwiches. It would be way better with some nice cheese
Unbedingt die Croissants / Zimtschnecken probieren - himmlisch 🥰 Cappuccino sehr lecker, Matcha Latte recht klein, Wasser steht kostenlos zur Verfügung 👍🏻
Good pastries, coffee and sufficient seating in a nice area. There was a queue to get in but that was understandable because the food was quite good!
Hatte mich sehr gefreut. Leider nicht mecker. Overhyped und zu langes anstehen fü...
The best ginger lemon tea in town💛Love to meet here with friends and drink a cup or two
Very good breakfast in a very nice place
The ham and cheese sourdough sandwich was delicious. Tasty sourdough bread with a slightly crunchy edge whilst soft in the middle compliments the filling well. Portion is very sizeable!
The place for pastries in Berlin! Definitely try the morning buns and the focaccia, both are to die for.
Tasty pastry and coffee. Very charming inner yard and location as well
coffee and croissants were tasty but not as worthy as waiting for an hour in the queue and the queue wasn’t even too long
