À « Am Knipp », à Aix-la-Chapelle, les clients sont accueillis dans une auberge traditionnelle de la famille Ramrath, vieille de plus de 300 ans. Chaque dimanche, c’est le jour des travers de porc. Des boissons sont également proposées en plus des plats.
Les lundis et mardis sont les jours de fermeture. Du mercredi au dimanche, l’auberge est ouverte à partir de 17 h 30. Les réservations sont possibles soit de 17 h 30 à 19 h 30, soit à partir de 19 h 30. « Am Knipp » propose également le Wi-Fi gratuit. L’auberge a été présentée à la télévision de la WDR dans l’émission « Theken mit Tradition », ainsi que comme conseil gastronomique par Center TV.
