Sofi Bakery backt Brot mit Getreide von kleinen Bio-Landwirten aus Nordeuropa. Die Nachbarschaftsbäckerei in Berlin-Mitte arbeitet nach dem Prinzip des ehrlichen, handwerklichen Backens mit möglichst wenigen Eingriffen und legt besonderen Wert auf Herkunft, Rohstoffe und Herstellungsprozess.
Im Mittelpunkt steht die Übertragung der Ideen der Slow-Bewegung auf das Brotbacken. Sofi versteht Backen als Handwerkstradition und beschäftigt sich dabei mit den Folgen der industrialisierten Lebensmittelproduktion. Die Auswahl des Getreides beginnt beim Boden, dessen Bedeutung für die Qualität der Körner mit der Bedeutung des Bodens für Wein verglichen wird. Sofi Bakery entstand in Zusammenarbeit zwischen Slowness und dem dänischen Koch und Gastronom Frederik Bille Brahe.

Their doule baked croissant and focaccia are my favourite! For the taste I def would give five stars, but only four as it is not guaranteed that you will get what you want at your visit😭

Nice neighborhood and staffs. Nothing much left when visited around 3 p.m. Croissant and pain au chocolate were crispy and tasty tho:)! Black coffee went well with pastries

Beautiful craft bakery, run by extra friendly staff. Love the new edition to my neighborhood. Miso chocolate cookie and sweet morning pastry are a must. Not to mention the Bun with Cheese.
