Probsteier Wurstfabrik Pfeifer

The Probsteier Wurstfabrik Pfeifer stands for meat and sausage products with the flavor typical of northern Germany. Its specialties include fine and coarse delicatessen liver sausage, fine and coarse Aalrauch Mettwurst, Bauernmettwurst, Hamburger Gekochte and Katen-Keulen Mettwurst. The products are distributed throughout the regional trade and are partly available throughout Germany.

The Probsteier Wurstfabrik has been located in Probsteierhagen since 1891. In 1931, it was taken over by Hermann Pfeifer and has been run as a family business ever since. The move to Heinrich-Wöhlk-Straße in Schönkirchen took place in 1973 and was accompanied by an expansion and modernization. Today, Rolf Pfeifer and his sons Mirco and André continue to run the business together with their employees. Several sausage specialties bear the Schleswig-Holstein quality seal. The goal is to produce top-quality products.
