At Mauf’s traditional butcher shop, sausages and meat are prepared according to ancient, self-mixed family recipes. Three retail shops and a sales van provide the local customers with “the best quality and freshness every day, straight from the source.”
The family tradition of the butcher shop dates back to its founding by Fritz and Minna Mauf in 1888. Since 2009, Chris Mauf and her husband Stephan Gottschalk, both master butchers, have continued to run the butcher shop according to modern standards. The traditional butcher shop in Köllme is considered the oldest craft business in the Salzatal municipality. In addition to the branches in Bennstedt and Angersdorf, an extensive party catering service is available for celebrations and family events.
